We use three heavy duty 6 inch strap hinges per door to evenly distribute the weight. - WEATHER RESISTANT FLOOR - If you have a concrete slab (and it’s level, square, and the exact dimension of your shed), we can use it as your floor. Otherwise… Your shed’s base is built using full 2x6 joists every 16 inches on center… all high quality 30 year ground contact rated pressure treated lumber. It’s elevated on solid 4 inch thick concrete blocks to help with airflow and moisture management to further extend the expected lifespan of your shed base. Your shed’s flooring is a full 3/4” thick, and it’s weather resistant… so you can bring in your wet snow blower or equipment without worrying about the floor warping or buckling if it gets wet. It’s a stiff, quiet floor. Other builders often use untreated OSB or plywood flooring, sometimes as thin as 7/16.
