Our exterior panels are impregnated with special waxes and resins so they never absorb water, won’t rot, and are treated with zinc borate to repel termites and insects… unlike the basic T1-11 siding many other builders use, which is prone to absorb water, swell up, dry out, and breakdown if not painted every 1-3 years. - 25 YEAR TRIM - You get maintenance free PVC trim designed to last 25+ years in harsh elements. It’s UV stable. It doesn’t require paint. And it won’t rot, cup, split, or warp …unlike the pine trim many other shed builders use, which requires a solid coat of paint every 1-3 years. - LIFETIME ROOF - You get algae resistant LIFETIME rated (30yr+) architectural roofing shingles. Many other builders use less expensive 3-tab shingles with a max life expectancy of 10 years. - OUR DOUBLE DOORS - We build your doors to be sturdy and secure, yet light and easy to handle. They look great, keep your contents safe, and don’t sag. The left door has a spring-loaded bolt on the top and bottom so you can pin it in place. The right door has a locking T-handle with a key. We use three heavy duty 6 inch strap hinges per door to evenly distribute the weight. - WEATHER RESISTANT FLOOR - If you have a concrete slab (and it’s level, square, and the exact dimension of your shed), we can use it as your floor. Otherwise… Your shed’s base is built using full 2x6 joists every 16 inches on center… all high quality 30 year ground contact rated pressure treated lumber. It’s elevated on solid 4 inch thick concrete blocks to help with airflow and moisture management to further extend the expected lifespan of your shed base. Your shed’s flooring is a full 3/4” thick, and it’s weather resistant… so you can bring in your wet snow blower or equipment without worrying about the floor warping or buckling if it gets wet. It’s a stiff, quiet floor. Other builders often use untreated OSB or plywood flooring, sometimes as thin as 7/16. When it gets wet it swells, pops nail heads, and can become weak or brittle. - ALL THE LITTLE DETAILS - We include 4” overhangs and aluminum drip edge on your shed. You also get gable vents, included. Some builders charge extra for this… but it’s a necessity, so we include them. This allows rising hot air to escape in the hotter months.
